Myra the Emu and over sixty other farm rescues share her home at Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary in Cedarville, New Jersey. Since Myra is an adult emu, her approximate weight is eighty-two pounds.

She can sprint 31 miles per hour and is extremely tall. Although emus can kick quite well, they generally avoid fighting unless they sense a threat to themselves or their young, which is unlikely in Myra's sanctuary.
9. The Aerium
located in Berlin, Germany's east. Redesigning cost $100 million in 2000.
The Aerium is a massive hangar for aircraft that was originally constructed for the Luftwaffe close to Berlin. Following Germany's defeat in World War II, the Soviet Red Army seized control of it and used it to further their goals until their dictatorship fell.

There is now a sort of indoor water park in the hangar. After accounting for inflation, the conversion of an abandoned aeroplane hangar into a functional structure came to almost $100 million. An adult day pass at Tropical Islands, the water park at the Aerium, costs approximately $60.
